How to Enable Wendi Scheduling

Wendi Scheduling allows patients to schedule an appointment from within Wendi, bypassing the need for a 3rd party calendar service.

This article covers the initial setup, event configuration, and reminder settings of Wendi Scheduling.

Enable Wendi Scheduling

To enable Wendi Scheduling, go to the Scheduling tab of the Availability & Scheduling page. Click on the "Use Wendi Scheduling" slider to enable Wendi Scheduling.

 

  • Scheduling Contact Email is the email address you'd like scheduling notifications and confirmations to go to.
  • Authorized Domains is the URL of the website your Wendi Widget is installed on.

Configure Events

Once you've added a Scheduling Contact Email and Authorized Domain, press the save button. Now it's time to configure your Events on the Events page.

To add a new event, press the plus icon in the bottom left of the screen. There you can give an event a title, like "Initial Appointment", a description, set the duration, and set the padding between appointments. After you save the event, the next time a patient interacts with the Wendi Scheduling calendar, they will have the option to choose that event for booking.

You need at least one event for Wendi Scheduling to work.

Configure Reminder Frequency

Two reminders are sent via SMS and email to a patient of their upcoming event. On the Reminders page, you can configure the frequency at which these reminders are sent out.

Press the save button in the bottom left to save your settings.
